Every AAVG flight originates or terminates at one of our five hubs. Pilots choose a home base on application and may still fly from any station.
Based aircraft, operating carriers, runway configuration and the sectors you will typically be dispatched on from each station.
Our headquarters and the base for every AirAsia X long-haul rotation. The busiest station in the network and the starting point for the Saturday group departure.
Typical sectors: KUL–SIN, KUL–BKI, KUL–DMK, KUL–CGK on the A320; KUL–SYD, KUL–NRT, KUL–ICN on the A330-900neo.
Second largest hub and the gateway into Indochina. High-frequency domestic Thai flying with a growing long-haul programme.
Typical sectors: DMK–CNX, DMK–HKT, DMK–RGN, DMK–PNH on the A320; selected A330 sectors towards East Asia.
Our Philippine base. Short, busy sectors and challenging terrain arrivals make it a favourite for pilots building hours towards First Officer.
Typical sectors: MNL–CEB, MNL–TAG, MNL–KLO domestically, plus MNL–HKG and MNL–KUL regionally.
Anchors the Indonesian archipelago with dense inter-island rotations — the highest sector count per hour of flying in the network.
Typical sectors: CGK–DPS, CGK–SUB, CGK–KNO inter-island; CGK–KUL and CGK–SIN regional; occasional A330 sectors.
Our newest station and a growing focus city. New routes are added here regularly as the Cambodian network expands.
Typical sectors: PNH–REP, PNH–DMK, PNH–KUL and PNH–SGN.
