Fly the skies of
Southeast Asia

AirAsia Virtual Group recreates the AirAsia Group operation inside Infinite Flight: five hubs, 2,690 scheduled sectors under six real group callsigns, an A320 and A330-900neo fleet, and a career mode that turns your logged hours into rank.

The operation at a glance

What the numbers actually mean

Every figure below is a real part of the operation, not a badge. Here is what each one covers and how it affects your flying.

5

Operating hubs

KUL (main base), DMK, MNL, CGK and PNH. Every scheduled flight starts or ends at one of them.

2,690

Scheduled sectors

Individual flight numbers in our route database, each with airports, aircraft, distance and block time.

6

Group airlines

AK, D7, FD, QZ, Z2 and KT — you fly the callsign of the operating carrier, not a generic one.

2

Aircraft types

A320-200 for the regional network, A330-900neo for AirAsia X long-haul work.

4

Career ranks

Cadet to Captain, plus command upgrades. Progression is driven by verified PIREP hours.

1

Flight per month

The only activity requirement to stay on the active roster. Leave of absence can be requested any time.

How a flight works

From dispatch to PIREP

1 · Dispatch

Pick a flight number from the route database that matches your rank limit, then plan it with the correct operating carrier, aircraft and cruise level.

2 · Fly the sector

All line flights are operated on the Expert Server with the AirAsia livery and the group callsign of the carrier you selected — for example AK for AirAsia Malaysia.

3 · File the PIREP

Submit your report after on-blocks. Staff verify the sector, hours are added to your logbook and promotions are issued automatically at each threshold.

The full procedure — callsigns, cruise levels, liveries and PIREP rules — is written out in the Pilot Handbook.

"AAVG started because a few of us kept ending up on the same Expert Server frequency out of Kuala Lumpur, flying the same red A320s, and wanted something more structured than a group chat. I care about two things here: that the operation feels like a real airline, and that nobody is left flying alone. If you send in an application, you will hear back from a person — usually from me."

One group. Endless destinations.
